The figure I charge depends on the amount of work and how long it takes, if you’re looking for a ball-park figure, see below.
All websites include 90 days of my basic care package and 30 days of free technical support via my Support Portal

WordPress Website Design
WordPress is the best CMS around, and it’s the only platform I use – not only is it flexible, easy to use and its simple to manage, its also versatile and well-supported, enabling me to build bespoke, advanced websites that perform amazingly in the real world.

- WordPress sites are built using a content management system (CMS) , so you can change the text and image content without paying for a developer to do this. (Training can be provided.)
- WordPress has over 40,000 plugins & developers can customise & tailor the sites as per specific needs.

- Domain Name: Prices vary depending on choice of TLD, i.e. .co.uk or .com etc and how long you lease them for. So you could be talking just £3+ to £30+ per year. For example, a .co.uk is about £8 for two years. This is included in the £600 and £800 packages
- £300: A three page WordPress site can be set up using a pre built WordPress template. You simply provide text and images laid out just as you want them supplied as a three-paged Word Document. We then setup the site, add the content from your document, setup basic SEO and setup Google and Bing indexing
- £500: A template based four page (home page, products/services page, an about you page and a contact form)
- £700: A customised, four page WordPress site (home page, products/services page, an about you page and a contact form) with some form of animated top header image

WordPress Care
It’s essential to keep WordPress up to date including plugins and themes. As with all systems it is essential to ensure that the core system is kept up to date ensuring security and stability. This can be very time consuming and a bit daunting.
With centralised monitoring, linking directly into the back end of your WordPress website, I am able to proactively monitor for the following:
- Core WordPress updates
- Theme Updates
- Plugin Updates
- Security Updates
- Up time monitoring
The centralised monitoring will scan your site once every 24 hours and report back to a central console of any new updates or security issues. Site up time monitoring will report to me within five minutes if your site has gone down. With this in mind I would always aim to restore service within a few hours where possible.

For £50 a month you’ll receive:
- The above centralised monitoring and maintenance
- 1 hours of tech and design support per month i.e. if you want to change anything on your site, you can use that time to do it.
- 2 Support tickets a week
- Daily Backups to cloud based storage (30 day archive, WordPress file and database)
- Speedy website restoration
- Security Monitoring & Advice Given
Charges after the 2 hours utilised and any additional work will be charged at my hourly rate of £35.

- 6 hourly backups to cloud based storage on top of the daily (4 x backups a day)

I am able to provide annual hosting from just £80. These may be free for the first year depending on the design package you choose.

I can help you for a low fee of £200 fixed price. Not only will I fix it, I will let you know how I fixed it and make suggestions as to what can be done going forward including which plugins can prevent future issues or updating your passwords.
Once all sorted, I can set you up on one of my care plans which will cover this scenario going forward.
What’s more, if I can’t solve the issue, then you won’t pay… Get in touch today if you have been hacked.
